Developing First-to-Market Memory Upgrades

Many system manufacturers limit the memory options for their systems and do not bring the largest possible capacities to market. There are many reasons an OEM might restrict the memory offerings of a given system – the marketing and positioning of a specific model within a product line, the pricing of a memory offering, an OEM’s engineering restrictions/limitations or the non-adoption of the latest memory design methodologies.

Dataram monitors these decisions by system manufacturers and seeks to extend the product offerings available to our customers with our “first-to-market” double density memory options.

Dataram’s first-to-market products enable our customers to obtain the maximum power and productivity from specific systems. Increasing memory capacity makes it possible for very large data sets to reside in main memory, delivering significant productivity gains – an important benefit for memory-intensive applications like electronic design automation (EDA), computer-aided engineering/product lifecycle management (CAE/PLM), mechanical computer-aided design (MCAD), and complex simulations. This additional memory capacity can also enhance the performance of analytical and transactional database applications.

Dataram’s high-capacity first-to-market memory options allow our customers to complete jobs faster within their existing IT infrastructure – a far more cost-effective solution than making a huge investment in new server hardware and software.
