Dataram Rolls Out New Quote & Order Tool to Strategic Partners
March 6, 2012
Self-Service Application Enhances Partners Operational Efficiency and Competitive Positioning
Princeton, NJ, March 6, 2012 — Dataram Corporation [NASDAQ: DRAM], a leading international manufacturer of computer memory, storage and software products, has deployed its Quote & Order Application demonstrating its continued investment in and commitment to their Strategic Partners. The introduction of this application compliments the broad range of services and support available exclusively to Dataram partners via their web based Partner Portal.
Dataram’s Partner Portal supports deal registration, lead submission/tracking and business planning. With the addition of the Quote & Order Application, Strategic Partners can utilize the 24/7 accessibility to create customized memory quotes, with the benefit of having those quotes housed in a central repository for future viewing and processing. Upon converting quotes to orders, users have the ability to track the order and delivery status at any time. The application includes workflow management capabilities that facilitate the processing and approval process associated with a Strategic Partner’s issuance of a purchase order.
The application delivers a customized tool to Partners by reflecting pricing connected to their Volume Pricing schedule. Partners have the ability to automatically re-price expired quotes or modify existing ones, as well as register memory deals for quotes entered through the system. Upon signing in, users are presented with timely and attractive product offers and sales incentives.
Kirsten Schlicht with St. Croix Solutions states, “The Dataram quote generator tool is an easy and quick way to ensure we are quoting the correct memory to our customers. By entering the Manufacturer and locating the System/Model, it is easy to locate the correct Dataram memory modules for the customer. The online tool allows you to save your quotes so when it comes time to ordering online, it’s a click of a button.”
When additional support is required, Partners using the Quote & Order Application can also employ a feature that will immediately put them in contact with their Dataram Account Executive or Memory Specialist to discuss their quotes or ask questions.
“The Quote and Order tool rolled out by Dataram in 2011 has been a fast, accurate and reliable way for ASG to obtain quotes. Its ease of use combined with helpful user manuals and installation guides has given us instant access to the information our customers need. The inside sales organization of ASG has been very happy with this tool and its functionality,” said Mark Mora, Inside Sales for Advanced Systems Group.
Dataram rolled out the application as a beta to several of its Strategic Partners in June 2011, and since that time millions of dollars in quotes have been created by its rapidly growing subscription base. To date, Dataram reports that the application has received nothing but rave reviews for its ease of use, productivity gains and, most importantly, enabling its Strategic Partners to gain a competitive advantage.
Operationally, this new application provides Dataram with a more economical “self-service” sales model for more generic and repetitive types of memory purchases. Dataram’s Quote & Order Application supports the Company’s strategy to leverage web-based technologies as a means to expand market penetration and enrich the customer experience.
